The Fox

The Fox is a coffee shop and bookstore located at 124 Tichenor Ave in downtown Auburn, Alabama, opened in April 2024 by Well Red owners Crystal and Richard Tomasello. The shop occupies the former home of Coffee Cat, a beloved downtown staple for nearly a decade, and retained much of its staff to ease the transition for the local community. Known for specialty lattes, cold brews, and pastries in a casual atmosphere, The Fox carries on the community-centered spirit of its predecessor while adding its own curated book selection and hosting local events.
