Gaston Motel at 1510 5th Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama, serving signature blends sourced from Brazil, Costa Rica, and Colombia, alongside lattes, smoothies, teas, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. The shop pays homage to its Civil Rights-era surroundings through offerings like the “Room 30” latte, named in honor of the room where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stayed during his visits to the motel in the 1960s. Operating Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 4 PM, Alicia’s Coffee is committed to community connection and sources baked goods from local Black-owned baker Amber’s Desserts.
