Founded by Hoover residents Nathan and Wendi Parvin, Baba Java began as Baba Java Roaster & Café in Riverchase and expanded to this third location in November 2023, bringing ethically sourced, specialty-grade coffee — sourced from Yemen, Ethiopia, Colombia, and beyond — to the U.S. 280 corridor. The café partners with Popbar for dessert offerings and serves locally sourced food items, making it a community-focused gathering spot convenient to nearby schools, Oak Mountain State Park, and the surrounding neighborhoods.
