Domestique Coffee Roaster is a Birmingham-born specialty coffee roasting and production facility located at 3017 6th Ave S in the Lakeview neighborhood, roasting since 2017. Founded by brothers Nathan and Michael Pocus, the company operates as a socially responsible coffee importer and roaster, using a fluid-bed roasting process and maintaining direct-trade relationships with farming partners in Haiti, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic — donating 15% of every Haitian coffee purchase to relief efforts in Haiti. Serving both wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets across the U.S., Domestique has grown into a multi-faceted coffee, hospitality, and lifestyle brand recognized among the top cafes in the world.
