House Eleven

House Eleven is a neighborhood café, bar, lounge, and event space located at 5229 1st Avenue North in the Woodlawn community of Birmingham, Alabama, opened in 2025 by local residents and co-founders Kim Nguyen and Caleb Taylor. The duo hand-renovated the historic home along U.S. Route 11 — the inspiration behind the name — with a mission to create an inclusive gathering place where neighbors and visitors alike feel welcome. House Eleven serves artisanal coffee, crafted cocktails, and pastries by day, transitions into a vibrant evening venue by night, and is also available for private events and community functions.
