Bayt Al-Qahwah — Arabic for “House of Coffee” — is a Yemeni coffee shop located at 425 Green Springs Hwy, Suite 141, in Homewood, Alabama, near the Publix at Edgemont Town Center. Opened in early 2026, the café brings traditional Yemeni coffee culture to the Birmingham area, serving specialty drinks like Saudi coffee with saffron and cardamom, Adeni tea, and Mofowar, alongside Middle Eastern pastries such as baklawa, kunafa, and sabaya, with beans sourced directly from local farmers in Yemen. The shop also stands out for its late-night hours, remaining open until midnight on weekends to serve the community as a destination for evening gatherings, studying, and remote work.
