Carpe Diem Coffee & Tea Company

Established in 1995, Carpe Diem Coffee & Tea Co. is a locally and independently owned coffeehouse located at 4072 Old Shell Rd in the Village of Spring Hill, Mobile, Alabama, directly across from Spring Hill College. Housed in a historic Victorian building, the café roasts small-batch specialty coffee beans in-house daily and serves fresh-baked pastries, breakfast, and lunch alongside a full espresso and tea menu. In 2022, the shop earned the title of “Best Coffee House” at the Nappies Lagniappe Readers’ Choice Awards, cementing its standing as a beloved community institution in Mobile.
