Baristas and Barristers is a unique coffee bar and lounge located at 547 S. Lawrence Street in historic downtown Montgomery, Alabama, owned and operated by attorney Monica Whiting. The concept brings together the worlds of coffee and law, serving a menu of coffees, teas, lattes, espresso, cocktails, beer, wine, and cigars inside a welcoming historic building designed to make guests from all walks of life feel at home. Since opening in 2023, the business has become a recognized part of downtown Montgomery’s growth, with owner Whiting actively partnering with neighboring small businesses to support community reinvestment and local development.
