Strange Brew Coffeehouse Bama is a specialty coffee shop located at 1101 University Boulevard on the Tuscaloosa Strip, originally founded in Starkville, Mississippi in 2006 and brought to Tuscaloosa by owners Shane and Kaitlin Reed — graduates of Mississippi State University and the University of Alabama, respectively. The shop is known for its small-batch roasted coffee, creative original espresso drinks, made-from-scratch pastries, and signature menu items like the Sea Turtle Latte and Capt’n Crunch Latte, with a second location also serving the Northport, Alabama community.
