Coldwater Coffeehouse and Bakery

Founded in 2017 by a group of five families, Coldwater Coffeehouse & Bakery is a worker-owned cooperative café and bakery located at 127 E. Western Ave. in the historic Old Town district of Avondale, Arizona. The café operates as a farm-to-table establishment, growing fresh produce in an on-site urban garden and sourcing ingredients from local small-scale farmers to craft scratch-made meals, hand-shaped breads, and specialty beverages. Through its people-first cooperative model, Coldwater supports sustainable food systems and serves as a community gathering space rooted in the heart of Avondale’s downtown.
