808 Social AZ is a Hawaii-inspired coffee shop founded by owner Charis Browne, who relocated to Peoria in 2020 and opened the original café near 85th Avenue and Peoria Avenue, bringing Hawaiian food, espresso drinks, and aloha culture to the Arizona community. In September 2023, Browne expanded by opening 808 Social Tattoo, a combined tattoo and café concept near 67th Avenue and Olive Avenue, where a rotating roster of guest artists — including tattoo artists from Hawaii specializing in Polynesian styles — work alongside a full café menu. The business is also community-minded, having hosted a tattoo fundraiser to benefit victims of the 2023 Lahaina wildfires and actively supporting local small businesses by carrying their products in-shop.
