Case Study Coffee Lounge is an independent coffee lounge located at 4802 N. 16th Street in Midtown Phoenix, Arizona, founded by Phoenix native and master woodworker William Douglas. Originally conceived as a furniture showroom where clients could experience Douglas’s handcrafted pieces firsthand, the space evolved into a full-service café after the local community’s enthusiasm for both the woodwork and the specialty coffee prompted him to open it to the public. Today, Case Study is known for its house-roasted beans, creative seasonal drink menu, and beautifully crafted interior — all reflecting the artisan spirit at the heart of its origin.
