Moxie Coffee Co.

Founded in 2021 by Matt Heltzel, Moxie Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee micro-roastery, café, and bakery located at 4626 N. 16th Street in Uptown Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to sourcing rare, small-batch coffees and roasting them to highlight their natural sweetness and complexity. The shop serves coffee, tea, and pastries daily from 7am to 5pm, and earned a Gold Medal in the Filter Coffee (Experimental Process) category at the inaugural Global Coffee Awards in 2025. Deeply rooted in the local community, Moxie hosts Parking Lot Parties to bring Phoenix residents together for food, arts, and crafts, and strives to be a gathering place for coffee lovers across the city.
