Rural Road, Suite 10, in Tempe, Arizona, founded by partners Gabe Hagen and Jesse Shank, who left careers in finance during the pandemic to build a community-centered gathering place rooted in acceptance, diversity, and belonging. The shop serves artisanal coffee, pastries, and food — with vegan and gluten-free options — and operates as the flagship location of Brick Road Community Corporation, a mission-driven organization dedicated to uplifting diverse voices across Arizona. Hagen and Shank have been recognized as local heroes by ONE Community for their commitment to inclusive leadership, livable wages for employees, and meaningful community impact.
