Obet & Del’s Coffee

Obet & Del’s Coffee is a Filipino- and Black-owned independent coffee shop founded in 2020 by Heather Knox and Josh Oliveros, located at 5233 Hollywood Blvd in East Hollywood’s Thai Town neighborhood, with a second location in Northeast LA at 4503 N. Figueroa St. The shop serves Filipino culture-inspired specialty beverages — including their signature Filipino Iced Coffee made with ube oat milk and the Thai Town Latte — alongside classic espresso drinks, ceremonial-grade matcha, organic loose-leaf teas, and pastries. Known for its welcoming, inclusive atmosphere with retro-bohemian décor, the café serves as a beloved community gathering space rooted in the motto “Coffee + Community.”
