ORA is a Los Angeles-based architecture and interiors studio founded in 2014 by Oonagh Ryan, an Ireland-born architect who honed her craft at distinguished firms including Frederick Fisher & Partners and Koning Eizenberg before launching her own multidisciplinary practice. Located at 923 East Third Street in Los Angeles, the firm specializes in residential, commercial, and hospitality design with a philosophy rooted in sustainability, resilience, and mindful material selection — and in 2022 committed to the AIA 2030 Challenge to achieve carbon-neutral buildings. ORA is certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), Small Local Business (SLB), and City of Los Angeles Certified Green Business, and has earned national recognition including an AIA 2023 Small Project Award for its Liberation Coffee House design for the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
