SCR3AM & Sugar Coffee Co. is Denver’s only horror-themed specialty coffee shop, founded by Nic Johnson and located inside Horrid, an oddity and horror boutique at 1974 S. Acoma Street in Denver’s Overland neighborhood. The concept was born from Johnson’s passion for horror films and a desire to build a social community hub where customers could connect over shared love of the genre. The shop serves horror movie-inspired specialty drinks — sourced from Queen City Collective Coffee and select tea purveyors — alongside a rotating seasonal menu, all within a spooky, lounge-style atmosphere designed to bring people together rather than serve as a typical workspace café.
