The Coffee Trade

The Coffee Trade is a specialty coffee shop and on-site roaster located at 21 West Main Street in Avon, Connecticut, originally founded in 1985 by a coffee plantation owner from Guatemala and sold to local residents in 1995. The shop offers over 80 varieties of freshly roasted coffee beans, loose teas, coffee mugs, antiques, and gifts, all housed in a historic building constructed less than 50 years after the American Revolution. Serving the greater Farmington Valley region — including West Hartford, Simsbury, Canton, and Granby — The Coffee Trade has built a loyal following as one of Connecticut’s most trusted independent coffee roasters.
