Krafted Brew Lab

Krafted Brew Lab (KBL) is a specialty coffee micro-roaster and café located at 725 Bantam Road in Bantam, CT, within the Litchfield area, conceived by owner Jason Wallengren after he and his wife spent time living in Europe. Launched in August 2020, KBL offers fresh small-batch roasted specialty coffee beans, espresso drinks, baked goods, and locally-made merchandise, with a rotating selection of single-origin coffees alongside its signature Bantam Blend — a medium roast inspired by Northern Italian espresso. The business has grown into a beloved community fixture in Litchfield County, supplying beans to local partners such as Arethusa al tavolo and Petroroia Deli, and earning recognition from *Litchfield Magazine* and *Best of CT Magazine*.
