Spruce Coffee

Spruce Coffee is an inclusive, community-driven café and bar located at 952 State St in New Haven, CT, opened in late 2024. Sourcing its beans from Giv Coffee out of Canton, CT, the café serves specialty lattes, pastries, and a full bar menu in a cozy, living-room-style setting open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Spruce has quickly become a neighborhood staple by hosting nightly events — including open mic nights, live music, comedy shows, and game nights — with a mission to create a fun and welcoming space for everyone.
