Sleeping Bird Coffee is a neighborhood specialty coffee shop located at 3111 Miller Road in Wilmington, Delaware’s 9th Ward, founded by Zach DeLong and Leigh Ann Tona. Originally launched as a mobile coffee truck, the business expanded to its first permanent brick-and-mortar location in 2021, sourcing its beans from Philadelphia-based Rival Bros. Coffee Roasters. The café is known for its house-made baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and creative espresso drinks, and has earned a reputation as a warm, welcoming, and inclusive gathering spot for the local community.
