Black Crown Collective

Black Crown Collective is a specialty coffee shop founded by Sam Deur and Drago Tomianovic, operating out of the Cannon House Office Building at 27 Independence Ave SE in Washington, DC. The business began as a series of pop-ups around the District before establishing a coffee cart in the Cannon Building basement, and later expanding to a full café on the second floor serving pour-over options, espresso drinks, a seasonal signature menu, and fresh pastries sourced from world-class roasters. Rooted in a vision of community, art, and culture, Black Crown Collective has become a notable gathering spot for Hill staffers and DC locals alike, even reaching a labor peace agreement with the union representing House food service workers.
