Cafe Joy

Cafe Joy is an independent café and bakery located at 906 P Street NW in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC, which opened in late October 2025. The café serves a Mediterranean- and Middle Eastern-inspired menu of specialty coffee drinks, fresh sandwiches on pita and ciabatta, pastries, and sweet treats such as kunafa croissants and signature Joy Lattes. Known for its warm, plant-filled atmosphere and welcoming owner, Cafe Joy has quickly become a beloved neighborhood gathering spot in the heart of Shaw.
