Urban Grounds

Urban Grounds is a locally owned coffee lounge, bakery, and café founded in June 2022 by Tarpon Springs native Annie Appenzeller, located in a historic 1909 building at 150 E. Tarpon Avenue in the heart of downtown Tarpon Springs, FL. The shop serves specialty coffee, house-made pastries, and fresh light bites — all prepared with locally sourced ingredients — in a relaxed, community-focused setting with WiFi, comfortable seating, and outdoor views of downtown. Urban Grounds has become a go-to neighborhood gathering spot and a key part of the ongoing revival of Tarpon Springs’ downtown commercial district.
