Oconee Coffee Roasters is a family-owned specialty coffee roastery and café located at 142 Academy Street in Historic Downtown Madison, Georgia, housed inside a former cotton factory. The business was founded by Jenny and Wee “Jin” Chiew, with Jin bringing over 15 years of specialty coffee experience — including roles at Ceremony Coffee Roasters in Maryland and Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters in Colorado — as well as credentials as a certified Q Grader and U.S. Cup Tasters competitor. The shop offers seasonally sourced, small-batch roasted coffees from around the world, alongside tea and baked goods, and has become a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors to the Lake Oconee region alike.
