Founded in 2010 by Kelleigh Stewart and Brandon von Damitz after purchasing a neglected coffee farm in Puna, Big Island Coffee Roasters has grown into Hawaiʻi’s most awarded craft coffee roaster, operating a 4,000-square-foot café and roastery at 76 Kalanianaʻole Street on the scenic Hilo coastline. The company works directly with farmers across the Hawaiian Islands to offer the widest range of authentic 100% Hawaiian coffees, milled in small batches and roasted to order, and has put over $7 million into the hands of local farmers through farm-direct purchases.
