BerryBird Coffee is a husband-and-wife specialty coffee shop established in 2021, located at 75-6129 Ali’i Drive in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, within the Alii Gardens marketplace. Trained by the Specialty Coffee Association, owners Matt and Lisa source single-estate Hawaiian beans — including their signature Kona SL34 — roast them in-house, and brew each cup to order, with standout offerings including their signature Dirty Coffee and complex pour-overs. The brand’s name and spirit draw from a personal story: a tiny bird the couple rescued during a storm, whom they named Lucky, inspired them to build a business centered on resilience, warmth, and making every cup a memorable experience.
