Drip Collective

Drip Collective is a coffee shop, art gallery, and community gathering space located at 172 N. Racine Ave. in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, founded by artist and entrepreneur Francis Almeda and co-creator Ty Banks and opened in February 2024. The café serves specialty and rotating creative drinks — such as ube and burnt honey lattes — while also functioning as an incubator for Filipino and Black artisans, spotlighting local visual artists, and hosting weekly pop-up events. It is the second venture for Almeda, who previously opened Side Practice Coffee in Lincoln Square in 2020, and reflects his ongoing commitment to building authentic community-driven spaces for Chicago creatives.
