Cafe Santa Rosa

Cafe Santa Rosa is a family-owned, seed-to-cup coffee shop located at 1327 East Kelly Ave in Peoria Heights, IL, founded by Heber and Marta Vidal, who acquired a coffee farm in Colombia’s coffee-growing region in 2010 and began roasting and exporting beans to Peoria by 2014. The café opened its doors in July 2020 and later expanded to its current Peoria Heights location, where it serves 100% specialty Colombian coffee, organic teas, and locally sourced pastries — all grown, imported, roasted, and served in-house. The business is committed to ethical practices, including paying farmers fair and livable wages, providing access to preventative health services, and maintaining environmentally focused initiatives to protect their farmland in Colombia.
