Arrowroot Coffee Co – Roastery and Coffee Lounge

Arrowroot Coffee Co. — Roastery and Coffee Lounge is an independent specialty coffee roastery and café located at 625 E. Adams St. in downtown Springfield, IL, founded by Jacob Dinardo in 2019. The business grew from home roasting and farmers market roots into its first brick-and-mortar location — housed in the former Recycled Records building — with a focus on ethically sourced, small-batch coffee roasted on a fully electric roaster powered by solar energy. Arrowroot also serves the wider Springfield community through wholesale partnerships with local businesses, participation in the Old Capitol Farmers Market, and planned coffee education classes, and was a 2024 recipient of the Isringhausen DRIVE grant supporting downtown Springfield entrepreneurs.
