Reader’s Cup

Reader’s Cup is a bookish-themed café located at 218 Main Street in downtown Cedar Falls, Iowa, connected to The Nook bookstore. Opened in November 2024 by Debbie and Darron Olson — parents of Nook co-owner Abby Olson — the café expanded into the adjacent storefront to fulfill the bookstore’s longtime vision of offering coffee alongside books. The menu features handcrafted beverages using locally roasted Fat Cup Coffee, lotus energy drinks, specialty teas, kid-friendly mocktails, scooped ice cream from Hightail Delivery, and baked goods from local favorite Bambino’s Bakery.
