McLeod’s Coffee House

McLeod’s Coffee House is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) coffee shop located at 376 Southland Drive in Lexington, Kentucky, founded in 2019 by Brewster McLeod, a retired pastor from Southland Christian Church. The shop operates as an integrated workspace that employs adults with special needs — affectionately called “VIPs” — alongside the broader community, with a mission to offer dignity, inclusion, and meaningful employment to those often excluded. In addition to specialty coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches, the space features local artwork available for purchase and serves as a welcoming community hub, open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
