Phalcha Coffee

Phalcha Coffee is a Nepali-owned specialty coffee shop founded by a group of Louisville-area residents who bonded over their shared heritage and a desire to bring something new to the local café scene, opening their first location in early March 2024 at 1001 Mary Street in Louisville’s Germantown neighborhood. The name “Phalcha” comes from a Nepali word meaning “resting place,” reflecting the owners’ vision of a welcoming community hangout where guests can relax and unwind. The shop has since expanded to a second location in St. Matthews and is known for its vibrant, visually striking specialty drinks — including ube lattes, matcha beverages, and seasonal coffee flights — alongside freshly made pastries and light bites.
