Purdy’s Coffee Co. (Downtown) is a locally owned café located at 212 W. Main Street in the heart of Richmond, Kentucky, serving organic, fairly traded, and locally roasted coffee alongside a scratch-made breakfast and lunch menu. With a mission to “create a culture of serving people and cultivating community through great coffee and superior service,” the shop has become a beloved neighborhood gathering place for residents, students, and visitors alike. Purdy’s operates two Richmond locations — the original downtown café and a second location on Big Hill Avenue — both open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
