STIR Coffee

STIR Coffee House is a community-driven café located at 15405 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, founded by Katie Jenkins, owner of Grace Therapy Center, with a mission to create meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Nearly 80% of the café’s staff have developmental or intellectual differences, and employees are trained through Strides, a nonprofit partner that provides interview preparation and job skills training. Serving handcrafted lattes, espressos, and more, STIR is as much a hub for inclusion and community connection as it is a destination for great coffee.
