High Grinds

High Grinds is a specialty coffee and wellness café located at 1722 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana, inside a beautifully renovated historic building dating back to around 1850. The shop serves locally roasted coffee sourced from Mojo Coffee Roasters, housemade pastries, and a curated selection of hemp-derived THC and mushroom wellness products, offering guests both takeout service and a relaxed spot to enjoy views of the iconic St. Charles streetcar line. Opened in late 2025, the business is co-owned by five partners — including Beth Galante and Derek Domingue as managing partners — who saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the Lower Garden District by pairing serious coffee culture with a thoughtful approach to wellness.
