Mainely Coffee

Mainely Coffee was a small-batch specialty coffee roasting company located at 47 Katahdin Ave in Millinocket, Maine, founded in March 2018 after its owners spent years mastering the craft of home roasting. Operating in the shadow of Mount Katahdin, the company used an electric fluid bed air roaster to produce small batches under nine pounds, and also offered handcrafted cascara-based tea blends, with product names inspired by local Maine landmarks. After more than five years in business, Mainely Coffee announced its closure, citing rising coffee prices and economic pressures, and expressed hope that new owners might carry on its tradition of premium specialty coffee.
