Moonday Coffee

Moonday Coffee is a specialty coffee shop founded by David Kessel in the summer of 2021, originally operating as a mobile espresso cart on a promenade overlooking the ocean in Portland, Maine. It has since grown into a brick-and-mortar location housed in a repurposed shipping container at 93 Washington Ave, Unit 1, in Portland’s Munjoy Hill neighborhood, where it operates alongside a handmade jewelry business. The café sources its beans from local Portland roaster Speckled Ax and is known for its craft espresso drinks, signature maple latte, artisanal pastries, and commitment to sustainability through the use of biodegradable takeaway containers.
