Sterlingtown Bakehouse

Sterlingtown Bakehouse is a community-centered coffee shop and bakery located at 30 Burkett Road in Union, Maine, open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offering espresso, fresh-baked goods, breakfast, lunch, and a retail selection of books, beer, wine, and cider. Opened in early 2022 by Brian Fickett and Jillian Lary — the same duo behind the neighboring Sterlingtown Public House — the bakehouse was born from direct community input and a commitment to sourcing exclusively from Maine-based roasteries and producers. The bakehouse serves as a warm local gathering spot and sibling concept to Sterlingtown Public House, located directly across the street.
