Black Acres Roastery – Open Works

Black Acres Roastery at Open Works is a small-batch artisan coffee roaster and community café located at 1400 Greenmount Ave in Baltimore’s Station North district. The café, housed inside Open Works — Baltimore’s nonprofit makerspace — offers locally roasted coffees, artisan teas, locally sourced baked goods, and light fare, with a focus on ethically sourced beans and thoughtfully curated roast profiles. Rooted in the belief that great coffee should be accessible to all, Black Acres emphasizes community building through meaningful connection between producers and customers.
