Blue Heron Coffee

Blue Heron Coffee is St. Michaels’ only small-batch specialty coffee roaster, located at 500 S. Talbot Street in St. Michaels, MD, and has been serving the community since 2014. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Jay and Heather Hudson, the café roasts current-crop arabica beans in small batches on the café floor and always offers at least one Fair Trade Organic selection among its daily brews. Beyond the cup, Blue Heron is deeply community-minded, serving as a welcoming gathering space for creatives and locals, and supplying proprietary blends to several area businesses including restaurants, a brewery, and retailers across the Eastern Shore.
