New Leaf Espresso is a worker-owned cooperative espresso bar located at 310 Highland Ave. inside Razors Barbershop in Somerville, MA, founded by local baristas Eoin Jaquith and Andrew DeBenedictis. The shop opened in December 2024 with a mission to offer simple, affordable coffee drinks — starting at $3 — sourced from Broadsheet Coffee Roasters in Cambridge, alongside pastries from local bakeries including Michette Bakery and Lionheart Confections. Rooted in community values, New Leaf hosts live music on Sundays and is committed to creating fair, worker-centered employment for Somerville baristas.
