Socotra Coffee House

Socotra Coffee House is a family-owned café located at 3130 Packard Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan, rooted in decades of Yemeni culinary tradition and three years in the making before opening its doors. Named after Socotra Island off the coast of Yemen, the café serves authentic Yemeni coffee sourced from the Ibb region, alongside house-made pastries such as honeycomb bread and sabaya, and beverages like Adeni chai and signature spiced lattes. A combined effort among more than three dozen extended family members, Socotra brings a distinctive cultural presence to one of Ann Arbor’s most diverse neighborhoods.
