Gather + Grounds

Gather + Grounds is a community coffeehouse and event space located at 25709 Van Dyke Ave in Center Line, MI, operating as part of the RSA (Rising Stars Academy) Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young adults aged 18–26 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The café serves lattes, sandwiches, pastries, and more to the general public while providing its students with hands-on barista training, customer service experience, and critical life skills under the guidance of expert staff. Beyond its daily café operations, Gather + Grounds hosts community events, has expanded to additional locations in Richmond and Ferndale, and has been featured by local media outlets including WXYZ-TV Channel 7 and The Detroit News for its mission of inclusion and community impact.
