Karol Coffee Co.

Karol Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roaster and café located at 1503 Hamline Ave N in the Como Park neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota, founded by Nate and Megan Whipple and inspired by the life and work of Karol Wojtyła — known to the world as Pope St. John Paul II. What began as a garage roasting operation evolved into a mobile coffee camper built from a retrofitted 1963 “canned ham” camper before the Whipples purchased and renovated a classic Saint Paul building for their first brick-and-mortar location. The shop roasts its own small-batch coffee, offers a menu of classic and creative specialty drinks alongside house-made pastries, and serves as a welcoming community hub for the surrounding neighborhood.
