Founded in 2014, Shortwave Coffee is a locally owned specialty coffee shop and small-batch roastery located at 915 Alley A (and 29 S. 9th St.) in Columbia, MO, with additional locations in Minneapolis, MN, St. Louis, MO, and Tampa, FL. The company sources ethically traded, high-quality green coffee beans from around the world — with a particular commitment to partnering with women-owned farms — and roasts them on-site to craft award-winning, distinctive blends, earning over nine Golden Bean competition awards. Beyond coffee, Shortwave is an active community presence in Columbia, participating in local events and fostering a welcoming gathering space in the heart of the downtown district.
