Café Corazón

Founded in September 2019, Café Corazón is an indigenous-owned Latin American coffee shop and roastery with three locations across Kansas City, Missouri, including Westport, Brookside, and the Crossroads Arts District. The café specializes in specialty Latinx and Indigenous espresso drinks, traditional Yerba Mate tea, and house-made foods such as empanadas, tamales, and alfajores — all rooted in the owners’ American, Mexican, and Argentinian heritage. More than a coffee shop, Café Corazón serves as a cultural gathering space, celebrating Latin and Indigenous roots through art, music, and community connection, with a mission of “cultural pride with each pour.”
