Shortwave Coffee

Shortwave Coffee is a locally owned specialty coffee bar and roasting company, originally founded in Columbia, Missouri, that hand-roasts seasonal beans and has since expanded to locations in Minneapolis, MN, Tampa, FL, and most recently St. Louis, MO. The St. Louis location, situated at 33 N. Sarah St. in the Central West End neighborhood, took over the former Quarrelsome Coffee space and opened in early 2026. True to its brand philosophy of “receiving and transmitting,” Shortwave Coffee focuses on meticulous bean sourcing, expert roasting, and fostering welcoming, community-centered café environments across all of its locations.
