Dragonfly Café & Bakery is a beloved local café and coffee shop located at 518 First Street in downtown Milford, Nebraska, serving specialty espresso drinks, energy drinks, smoothies, teas, fresh-baked pastries, and a full breakfast and lunch menu. The business has roots going back to 2005 when it first opened as Dragonfly Desserts, with the name carrying forward through multiple owners; current owners Cody and Mallory Gregory — both Milford-area teachers — purchased and renovated the shop in 2024, staffing it in part with current and former students. Mallory also supports the local community by sourcing flowers from nearby businesses, displaying local art, and featuring specialty coffee from Normal Roasting in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
