Pangolin Cafe

Pangolin Café is a specialty coffee shop and artisan confectionery located at 955 S. Virginia Street in Reno’s Midtown district, best known for its craft coffee, tea, and house-made Turkish Delights (lokum). The café was founded by co-owner Travis Sandefur, whose inspiration traces back to 2016 when he first encountered Turkish Delights while working in Istanbul with Adventist Health International, and later trained with a lokum confection master in Konya, Turkey before opening the café in 2019. Beyond its unique menu, Pangolin Café is dedicated to raising awareness about pangolins — the world’s most trafficked mammal — and partners with SavePangolins.org, donating a portion of sales to support conservation efforts for the endangered animal.
